Create or Drop Snapshot of Database in AWS RDS Database Service

Create a Snapshot with MariaDB database

1. Go to the RDS service and select the database for which you want to take Snapshot.

2. At last of the Maintenance & Backup tab, you will found the snapshot and click on Take Snapshot button.

3. In Next screen, you have to mention the Snapshot Name and Click Take Snapshot button.

4. Snapshot is start creating as shown below:

Delete the Snapshots for Database

1. RDS –> Snapshot –>. Go to Actions button –> Choose the Delete Snapshot button.

2. Conform for Deletion of Snapshot:

3. Following message Appeared in AWS RDS snapshot after delete.
