AUD: OS Error = 1717 encountered while writing audit record

Error
Error: OS Error = 1717 you found in alert log file of your Oracle Database when you check your alert log.

Alert Log file:
ORA-28056: Writing audit records to Windows Event Log failed AUD: OS Error = 1717 encountered while writing audit record

Cause
In window system you found this error, As error show you are not able to write the audit records in window event.
Oracle write the audit record to event log of windows If service stop or restarted then it will give error in alert log.

Solution

1. Check the Service status of Windows Event Log in services.msc
2. Started the Service Window Event log if stopped.
