Tips to free up C drive space on your Windows machine

Following are the steps to free up the space utilized in C drive:

1. Open the Run window or type the WIN+R key to open the Run window, Type prefetch and delete all files.

2. Open the RUN Window again by typing the WIN+R key. Type %temp% to open the temp files folder and delete all files from that folder.

3. Open the RUN Window type temp only and delete all files from that folder.

4. Open the Disk Cleanup utility by typing in search of the window. DISK CLEANUP will show all the details and you can select all which you want to delete and press OK.

5. Delete unwanted apps and software that are not required and useless. Search add and remove the program in the search box and open the add and remove program from the control panel. Delete unwanted programs.
