Facebook is a social media platform which is used to connect people throughout the world. However all the messages from friends are received in inbox folder but there is another folder that may be full of messages where outsider (persons which are not in your friend list) or unwanted, unknown user may try to contact you and This folder is known as “Message Request”.

The hidden messages reside in a special folder called “Filtered Message Request” which are considered to be not important as the user may not want to see such requests/messages.

Steps to check other messages/requests

1) Firstly, Go to Facebook messenger app.

2) Here you will see the two tabs “chats” and “people”. First tab shows the conversation between friends and people shows the active status of your friend list.

3) Click on your Facebook profile picture available on top left. Here you will get many options shown below.

4) Click on second option “messages requests” which further contain two tabs “YOU MAY KNOW” and “spam” messages, then you can check messages from the persons that tried to contact you.
