Xcopy command for copy the folder structure

Xcopy command is used in windows as command prompt for coping the folder to local or network. Xcopy will have different option.

In following example the xcopy will copy only the directory structure of E:\code_Gen to F:\code_gen without data files or text files. It copy only structure of one directory to other directory

C:\>xcopy E:\code_gen F:\code_gen /t /e
Does F:\code_gen specify a file name
or directory name on the target
(F = file, D = directory)? D
